Manassas Assembly
 The leadership and the entire membership of the Manassas Assembly of the Church of Pentecost, USA Inc. wishes to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the almighty God for his goodness and mercies that saw us all through the year 2009.
The leadership of the assembly comprises of three elders, three Deacons, four Deaconesses after one.
Activities
- Picnic, was organized under the auspices of the women movement in August and it was well participated. Souls were won for the church during the picnic.
- The Health Awareness Week was a great blessing to many. Seminars, lectures and discussions on health topics such as diabetes, hypertension, strokes, and malnutrition were undertaken and many a people were bless. The church also had a fruitful lecture on financial management which was given by Mr. Francis Basoah- CPA.
- Leadership Training/Retreat was organized during the year and it was a blessing to the leaders and the church at last. Other district leadership training was also participated by our leaders.
- National Prayer Week. The assembly participated in the National prayer week and we believe individuals as well as the church in whole benefited from it.
- Evangelistic Drive: In an effort to evangelize the community we embarked on pamphlet distribution and advertisement of the church in the Ghanaian news paper. A picnic was organized at the Bull Run Park in Centreville which was well attended. Through it a soul was won who continues to be in the church till now. We, together with Herndon Assembly, organized the New Years Eve at Manassas in an effort to draw people in Manassas and the neighborhood to worship the Lord into the New Year. It was a great success.
The church is marching on; the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. Many will be the distractions to off-track us, many will be the hurdles to jump, many will be the snare from the fowler. The snare will be broken, the hurdles will be jumped, the distractions would not off-track us. We will win; we will forge ahead for the battle is the Lords. Let us all as an assembly, a district and the church of God march forward, seek the glory of God’s church and the Lord will not fail to reward us.
