Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem, look around and consider, search through her squares, if you can find but one person who deals honestly and seeks the truth I will forgive this city, may He alone the only wise God be all the glory and honor forever and ever. Amen Jeremiah 5:1
The leaders and members of NOVA PIWC wish to give all acknowledgements and honor to The Most High God for all of His grace and favor upon the assembly.
There were a total of seven programs that were patronized on the District and Regional Levels under themes such as; “The Kingdom of God is near,” “Let the Lord be your helper,” “Let us Rise and Build (Neh. 1-13),” “The Just shall live by Faith” (Heb. 2:4), and “Those who wait upon the Lord” Locally, we observed a Local Welfare Awakening Day under the theme “All those who trust in the Lord Shall never be ashamed.” The PENSA movement was given a week under the theme: “Making a difference in our time” (Jud. 3:31). We also continued in weekly local Bible Studies which took place every Sunday with the exception of Lord’s Supper Sunday’s and joint Sunday services. All of these activities were means of inspiration and motivation to the membership to grow deeper and more committed in their walk with God.
Seminar(s)
With a large contingency of our membership falling into the category of singles, many of our members participated in the first singles Night under the theme: “You are single for a season and reason.”
Leadership Training/Retreat
There was participation in two of the District and Regional sessions. Some of the themes were “Grace go Lead” and “Let us Speak one Language” These sessions were conducted with the intent of providing the leaders with the necessary tools and resources to be effective in the various facets of leadership within the church. These trainings proved to be quite insightful and useful by evidence of the performance and results seen within the assembly.
